Our toddler swing is manufactured using moulding techniques and is made out of fade-resistant high-density polyethylene. This results in a high-quality, weather-resistant chair swing for babies, that can be left outside year-round and will provide tons of backyard fun for many years to come. What’s Included in Our Baby Swing Seat Kit?

Our toddler swing kit includes the seat, 5-metre long ropes, rope locks, and the swing rugs that attach to the swing hooks. If you have purchased one of our swing sets, then you will already have the required hooks. Please double-check with our customer service team that you have the correct hooks for the toddler swing seat. If not, hooks can be purchased separately on our webshop.

Assembling Your Baby Chair Swing

Assembling your outdoor baby swing seat is quick and easy. Simply ensure your swing hooks are correctly screwed into place, attach the swing rungs to the hooks, use the rope locks to adjust the seat height to at least 35 cm above ground, and start swinging!

Ensuring Safe Play on Your Baby Garden Swings

And now for the boring but important stuff. For the safety of your child, please adhere to the following guidelines when using our outdoor baby swing seat:

• The toddler swing seat is suitable for children 18 months to three years old.
• The baby swing set is for domestic use only, and should not be used in public areas.
• The toddler swing seat is for outdoor use only.
• User weight should not exceed 50 kg.
• The toddler swing seat should not be used by more than one person at a time.
• There should be a distance of at least 45 cm between your outdoor toddler swing seat and other seats attached to the same frame.
• There should be a safe play zone, free from any obstacles or hard surfaces, that extends at least two metres around your baby swing set.
• Children playing must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• Do not push children beyond a 60-degree angle.

Improper use of our swing for toddlers and babies may result in injury and/or jeopardise the warranty of this product.

Maintaining Your Garden Baby Swing Seat

By performing the correct maintenance, you can keep your swing seat for toddlers looking and feeling brand spanking new for many years.

If soil, sand, dust or other substances dirty the seat, you can wash these off using warm water and a mild detergent. If any squeaking between the swing rungs and hooks occurs, simply apply vegetable oil to the hooks, and this should cease. Routinely inspect the rope of your garden baby swing for any significant fraying or tearing, and replace if necessary.

A Playground That Grows with Your Children

All Jungle Gym swing sets come with either a monkey bar swing, a classic swing or both. These swing types are suitable for children 3 years and over. If you have a younger child, aged 18 months to 3 years, purchasing a toddler swing is a great way to get them involved.

We also offer a sling swing seat, made from a flexible material so that it hugs the body while your child is swinging. Due to the additional support it provides, this seat can be a great way to bridge the gap between a baby swing seat and our monkey bar/classic seat.
